As you can see 'elbow' have used an abstract design for their album cover. This design is very different to the styles other bands use due to the genre of music. The main image is simple but striking with deformed human like images, bland colours and an old city like theme. The main image appears to be something of similar shape to a rubix cube, however, the distinct lack of colour completely contrasts with the normal rubix cube thing. The Font also contrasts with the image as it is fairly neat and quite normal. It doesn't appear as though the picture has been carefully designed, the visual effect transmits a juvenile theme to the CD cover. There is a retro Mise-en-scene.
